About

What 3CORD is and why it exists

Quick answer

3CORD is a Christian marriage help platform. It has three parts: free content about the real problems couples face, tools to act on today, and a daily devotional app for married couples where the day only advances once both of you finish.

Where the name comes from

The name comes from Ecclesiastes 4:12 and the image of a cord of three strands: God, husband and wife. It is not just a nice reference; it is the idea that organizes the product. A marriage held up by two people alone depends on both of them being well at the same time, and that is not always the case.

That is why the logo is a three-strand knot, and why the app does not let one spouse move ahead without the other.

What is inside 3CORD

  1. Content

Guides on the problems that actually drive couples to look for help: communication, crisis, emotional distance, infidelity, intimacy, money, kids and in-laws. Free, no sign-up, no paywall.

  2. Tools

A nine-area assessment and a library of conversation questions. They run in your browser, ask for no email and send nothing to any server.

  3. Journeys

Guided 7 to 40 day paths to work on one specific area, together, inside the app.

  4. The app

A daily devotional for married couples. Four sections a day and a streak that only advances when both of you finish.

How we are different

Most marriage resources stop at explaining. Explaining is fine and changes nothing on its own: almost every couple that reads about communication still argues the same way the following Thursday.

What we try to do is close the whole loop: understand what is happening, talk about it in a way that does not end badly, practice something concrete, and sustain it as a shared habit. That last part, sustaining it together, is what almost nobody solves and the reason the app works the way it does.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide therapy, clinical counseling, or medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
  • We do not promise to save marriages or put timelines on reconciliation.
  • We do not publish testimonials, numbers or ratings that are not real and verifiable.
  • We do not use Scripture as a formula for getting a result.
  • We do not treat abuse as if it were a communication problem.

Who is behind it

The site content is written by the 3CORD editorial team following public editorial standards, and the devotional and pastoral content is produced by the app content team.

We are bringing in reviewers with verifiable training in marriage counseling for the most delicate topics. Until that is in place, we would rather say so plainly than claim credentials we do not have.
